Christmas Poem 2013

Tami’s Christmas Poem 2013
I started Christmas 6 weeks early this year,
Hallmark movies left me streaked with tears.
December 10th and not one Christmas card
But we finally got the lights up in the yard.
I wondered if someone would strap the tree on my car
But figured I’d forget it and drive in the garage too far.
Taryn is a senior, boy how things change,
Happy she’s not tribute in The Hunger Games.
Tanner’s so tall and has a full stache,
Trent’s catching me with a fiery wrath.
The kids are too busy for me to keep straight,
I forget all about them sometimes when they’re late.
So much to do it seems so unfair,
Good thing I’m not applying for Obamacare.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas tonight,
May God bless you all for He is the light.
