2011

Christmas Poem 2011

Times are changing and moving fast,
The Christmas season will soon be past.
The laundry’s piled up, my house is a mess,
I better go update my Facebook status.
Taryn is driving, my nerves have been tested,
I’ve come unglued but haven’t yet been arrested.
Tanner’s in Middle School, what more can I say?
He shoots anything that moves so don’t get in his way.
All Trent wants to do is decorate real soon,
If I’m not careful he might ‘occupy’ the front room.
We’ve lost Steve Jobs and still don’t like Obama,
Michael Jackson’s still dead and so is Osama.
Which makes me thankful for what I have,
A wonderful Husband and a loving Dad.
A houseful of laughter to warm my heart,
Handmade ornaments and macaroni art.
Merry Christmas to you, may this find you with love,
And know you are being blessed by the Lord above.
