Okay, so I have this thing with 'my snow' that makes people laugh. I like 'my snow' to stay all perfect and not get messy. I like to get atleast one good picture of my house with the snow staying nice and neat. Some neighborhood kids came over and made a mess of 'my snow' and I was upset. So, if you know what's good for you, stay away from 'my snow'.
The snow was the biggest event around here in a long time. This may have been the first white Christmas my children have seen, at least two of them. All they wanted to do is play outside in the snow and I was happy that they were going outside to run around. Terry took them sledding a few times in our neighborhood 'bowl' area and they all had a blast. Every kid at the 'bowl' took advantage of our high tech sleds and even snowboarded with them down the bowl.
The snow and ice were unfortunate for many people I know but we managed fine with no power outages and no problems. I even made it out at least once every day just to strengthen my driving abilities in the snow and ice. My Tahoe did just fine.
An extra week with the kids home was a treat but I think we are all ready to get back to the swing of things.
